I’m Kristina — founder of kb&co. and BraveHearts Collective, a 25-year entrepreneur, and a mentor who works at the intersection of business leadership and nervous-system awareness. If you’re building something meaningful and know that clarity has to come from more than strategy alone, this is your room.
I’ve spent over 25 years working with multi-unit businesses — from quick service restaurant concepts to founding and scaling my very own quick serve cafe concept called kb&co., a plant-based café brand that operated provincially across Alberta and British Columbia. I’ve led franchise development, commercial leasing, operations, and brand strategy from both sides of the table: Franchisee and Franchisor.
But my story didn’t begin in business. It began in instability, chaos, and family addiction. In recent years, I lost a sister to addiction and became a caregiver to a child I now call my own. I know what it means to carry responsibility for people, and to balance personal circumstances while you are creating a legacy of your own, and all while trying to stay human inside it. That lived experience is not theory, it’s tangible and real and it’s what I bring into every room with someone.
Learning to lead, speak, and decide from presence rather than reactivity — mindfulness as lived experience, not performance.
Trauma-informed, body-led tools to slow down activation and lead from a grounded, regulated place — not therapy, but deeply respectful of your pace.
Strategic clarity, values-aligned growth, and leadership identity — holding responsibility while staying regulated and present.
Real-world guidance on expansion, brand integrity, partner relationships, and the emotional demands of growth — informed by two decades in the field.
Grounding, reflective support before and after intentional ceremony work — focused on integration and embodiment, never bypassing.
